Netball Excellence Program
The Netball Academy runs as part of the Health and Physical
Education curriculum, with students participating in netball instead of regular
HPE classes three times a week. Since its inception in 1999, the Netball Academy
has developed a strong reputation in the community and forms a significant part
of the tradition and reputation of the school.
The Netball Academy is renowned for producing a high
percentage of school captains and prefects, with five of the seven 2017 female
school leaders coming through the Netball Academy programme. The Academy also
achieves outstanding results in interschool netball and other tournaments. In
2020, our netball teams won 8 district premierships and three metropolitan finals series.
The Netball Academy
aims to offer a challenging but enjoyable programme by providing students with:
The opportunity to develop their netball skills to a highly competitive level, in a positive and supportive environment.
Access to expert coaching and personalised training to maximise learning and performance outcomes.
Netball conditioning, technical and tactical skills that are sequentially developed over the four year course.etball conditioning, technical and tactical skills that are sequentially developed over the four year course.
