ENROLMENT FOR YEAR 7 IN 2028
We are currently accepting applications for enrolment for Year 7 in 2028. Parents wishing to register their interest for Year 7 in 2028 please follow the steps outlined below:
1. Complete the following two documents:
2. Provide copies of your student's:
- Semester 1 Year 5 report card and Semester 2 Year 5 report card (when issued); and
- Year 5 NAPLAN report.
3. Programs of Excellence - All students are eligible to apply for the Programs of Excellence. Students are selected on a merit basis and must meet selection criteria of the program.
Program of Excellence applications must be submitted by FRIDAY, 21 MAY 2027. During Term 2, your student may be invited to participate in a trial or audition for their chosen program/s.
4. In Catchment – If you reside In Catchment provide required proof of residence as per our Enrolment Management Plan IC Proof of Residency (PDF 190KB).pdf.
5. Out of Catchment - Students applying from Out of Catchment must submit their application prior by 21 MAY 2027 to be considered for the Round 1 offers.
6. Submit your Enrolment Cover Sheet, Application for Student Enrolment form along with relevant supporting documentation listed above, and if applicable, your Program of Excellence application form to: enrolments@cavendishroadshs.eq.edu.au Alternatively return the documents to the Administration Office during office hours.
7. Enrolment Interviews:
- In Catchment - your student will be invited to attend an enrolment interview during Term1 or 2.
- Out of Catchment - your student's name will be placed on a waitlist and may be offered an enrolment interview during Term 2 subject to available capacity. Following an invitation to attend an interview, a non-refundable application fee of $100 will apply. Please note, payment of the application fee guarantees an interview but is not an automatic enrolment.
Please ensure that ALL supporting documentation is included with your Enrolment Cover Sheet as incomplete applications will not be processed.
