Celebrating 75 Years of Excellence – Cavendish Road State High School Turns 75 in 2027

In 2027, Cavendish Road State High School will proudly celebrate a remarkable milestone – 75 years of educating, inspiring and shaping generations of students since opening its doors in 1952.

For three-quarters of a century, Cav Road has been at the heart of our community, providing outstanding educational opportunities and fostering a tradition of excellence in academic achievement, sport, the arts, leadership and community service. Thousands of students have walked through our gates, forming lifelong friendships and making memories that continue to connect them to the school today.

As we prepare for this significant anniversary, we invite current students, staff, alumni, families and community members to join us in celebrating the rich history and bright future of Cavendish Road State High School.
