At Cav Rd SHS, we believe that strong communication between home and school is key to supporting every child’s learning journey. Parent/Teacher Interviews provide a valuable opportunity to connect, share insights, and work together to help each student thrive.

These meetings offer time to discuss your child’s progress, celebrate achievements, and explore ways we can continue to support learning and wellbeing throughout the year.

Reports
Reports will be issued three times a year for Year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and twice a year for Year 12 with an Exit Statement for them in December. At the end of Term 1 an Interim Report will be issued. Semester reports are issued in July and December. Parent-teacher afternoons are scheduled after the issue of the Interim Report and individual interviews are organised after the issue of the Semester 1 Reports (July).
Newsletters
Newsletters are published every third week and will contain most of what is happening at the school. The newsletter is accessible on the school website.
Please feel free to contribute to our newsletter. Business advertisements have a small fee.
Other notices are sent home as required.
