Parental involvement in your student's education is greatly encouraged at Cavendish Road State High School.  It is essential in high school, as in primary school, to be informed and involved in order to provide the best support for your high school student.
One way to do this is to be involved with the Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C).  All parents, guardians, carers and friends are most welcome to participate in the Association's endeavour to have a major input into the life of the school.
The P&C administers the canteen and uniform shop.  Profits from these sources are used to improve facilities and resources throughout the school.
While the P&C has some staff, it relies heavily on the generosity of volunteers for many tasks.  Special interest groups, such as parents of the Special Education Unit, and music students (CRIMS), also form part of the parents and citizens activities.  Please consider where you could get involved!
