Meet the iCentre Team
The iCentre team provides a library service that is central to our school community's needs. We support a program run in conjunction with inquiry skills and information literacy embedded in the Australian Curriculum. This teaches students to access and utilise relevant information, understanding where and how to locate it, and more importantly, how to transfer and apply these vital skills to key areas of their learning and life outside of the school environment.
iCentre Teacher Librarian
Our iCentre is staffed by a qualified Teacher Librarian who is on site Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Teacher librarians hold dual teaching and librarianship qualifications, which allows curriculum knowledge and pedagogy to be combined with library and information management knowledge and skills. Teacher librarians support and implement the vision of their school communities through advocating and building effective library and information services and programs that contribute to the development of lifelong learners.
